About the Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished and strategically minded Vice President of Supply Chain to lead the organization’s global supply chain strategy, procurement, planning, logistics, inventory, supplier management, and operational resilience. This executive will establish a scalable supply chain organization capable of supporting growth while improving service levels, working capital, cost efficiency, and supplier performance.
The Vice President of Supply Chain will partner closely with the CEO, COO, CFO, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Technology, Sales, and Product leadership teams. The ideal candidate brings significant global supply chain leadership experience, strong commercial judgment, and a proven record of transforming complex supply networks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, demand planning, supply planning, logistics, inventory, and supplier management functions.
- Establish supply chain objectives, KPIs, operating standards, and performance-management systems.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and external partners.
- Lead supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing initiatives, and long-term supplier agreements.
- Optimize inventory levels, working capital, service levels, and fulfillment performance.
- Develop resilient supply networks capable of responding to disruptions and changing market conditions.
- Establish comprehensive supply chain risk-management and business-continuity strategies.
- Oversee demand forecasting, capacity planning, production planning, and supply allocation.
- Drive transportation, warehousing, distribution, and logistics optimization.
- Lead cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives across the supply chain.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and risk.
- Oversee supply chain technology modernization, automation, and analytics initiatives.
- Partner with Finance to develop supply chain budgets, forecasts, and working-capital strategies.
- Establish data-driven dashboards and executive reporting for supply chain performance.
- Lead organizational transformation and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Develop organizational structures, talent strategies, and succession plans for supply chain functions.
- Ensure supply chain activities comply with applicable regulations, contractual requirements, and company policies.
- Present supply chain strategy, performance, risks, and investment recommendations to executive leadership and the Board when required.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, operations, or logistics experience.
- 7+ years of senior leadership experience managing complex supply chain organizations.
- Proven experience leading global or multi-region supply networks.
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement, demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
- Demonstrated success delivering significant cost savings and working-capital improvements.
- Experience with ERP and supply chain platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong understanding of supply chain analytics, automation, and digital transformation.
- Experience leading organizational transformation and large-scale operational initiatives.
- APICS/ASCM, CSCP, CPSM, or comparable professional certification is preferred.

Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $390,000 – $520,000 annually, based on executive leadership experience, global supply chain complexity, organizational scope, industry expertise, transformation experience, and overall qualifications.
