Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide risk management initiatives across operational, financial, strategic, regulatory, technology, and third-party risk domains.
- Develop and enhance risk management frameworks, methodologies, governance processes, and reporting structures.
- Conduct enterprise risk assessments and identify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and business exposures.
- Evaluate control effectiveness and recommend mitigation strategies that reduce organizational risk.
- Partner with executive leadership to integrate risk considerations into strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Oversee risk monitoring activities, key risk indicators (KRIs), risk appetite metrics, and executive dashboards.
- Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk-related remediation initiatives.
- Lead business continuity, crisis management, and operational resilience programs.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Technology teams to evaluate technology and information security risks.
- Review new products, business initiatives, partnerships, and operational changes from a risk perspective.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for senior leadership, board committees, and key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen governance and risk management capabilities.
- Mentor and develop risk professionals while promoting a strong risk-aware culture across the organization.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks affecting business operations.
- Support strategic transformation projects, acquisitions, and enterprise growth initiatives.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, compliance, internal audit, financial risk, or governance functions.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks, governance structures, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting financial services, fintech, banking, insurance, consulting, or highly regulated industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational risk, strategic risk, regulatory risk, third-party risk, and business continuity planning.
- Experience utilizing enterprise risk management platforms, governance tools, and reporting technologies.
- Professional certifications such as FRM, CRMP, CRCM, CIA, CISA, or equivalent credentials are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits
