About the Opportunity

We are seeking an analytical and strategically minded Senior Business Analyst to translate complex business requirements, operational challenges, customer needs, and data insights into practical solutions that improve business performance.

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with business leaders, Product, Technology, Finance, Operations, and project teams to analyze processes, define requirements, evaluate opportunities, and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, requirements, workflows, and operational performance.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs and define solution requirements.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Develop business cases, financial models, process maps, and recommendations.
• Identify process inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements documents, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology teams throughout solution development.
• Evaluate proposed solutions against business objectives and requirements.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
• Analyze trends, KPIs, customer data, and operational results.
• Support system implementations, process transformations, and technology projects.
• Conduct gap analyses and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with user acceptance testing and solution validation.
• Monitor project outcomes and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Prepare executive presentations and communicate analytical findings.
• Maintain documentation and ensure requirements remain accurate throughout project lifecycles.
• Support change-management and implementation activities.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to business-analysis standards and best practices.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of business analysis, consulting, strategy, operations, or related experience.
• Strong experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and data-analysis tools.
• Experience with SQL, BI platforms, or data visualization tools preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project-management methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms is preferred.
• Strong understanding of process modeling, workflow analysis, and business-process improvement.
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or comparable certification is a plus.
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred for strategy-focused roles.

Working Conditions

• Fully Remote position within the United States.
• Standard Monday through Friday schedule.
• Flexible hours may occasionally be required for project milestones and stakeholder meetings.
• Frequent virtual collaboration with executives, business leaders, Product, Technology, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Primarily computer-based work using analytics, project-management, documentation, and collaboration platforms.
• Occasional travel may be required for strategic workshops, project meetings, conferences, or company events.

Job Function

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for business requirements analysis, process improvement, data analysis, solution evaluation, stakeholder engagement, business-case development, project support, and strategic decision support.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $130,000 – $195,000 annually, based on experience, analytical expertise, industry knowledge, project complexity, technical capabilities, and overall qualifications.
