About the Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Regional Director to provide executive leadership across a designated geographic region, driving operational performance, financial results, customer relationships, organizational growth, and strategic execution. This role is responsible for translating enterprise objectives into regional strategies while ensuring consistent performance, accountability, and service excellence across the region.

The Regional Director will work closely with Executive Leadership, Finance, Operations, Sales, Human Resources, Customer Success, and other functional leaders to develop regional plans, optimize resources, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen organizational performance. This position will oversee regional teams and provide leadership across multiple business functions while maintaining alignment with company-wide standards and priorities.

The ideal candidate brings extensive multi-site or regional leadership experience, strong financial and operational acumen, and a proven ability to lead distributed teams. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, executive communication, performance management, relationship-building, and strong decision-making capabilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead regional operations, performance management, and strategic initiatives.
  • Establish regional business plans, performance targets, budgets, and operating priorities.
  • Monitor regional financial performance, revenue, expenses, profitability, and key performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market presence, increase revenue, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop regional managers, functional leaders, and distributed teams.
  • Establish performance expectations, accountability frameworks, and leadership development plans.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to identify regional growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Finance to develop regional budgets, forecasts, and financial improvement plans.
  • Partner with Human Resources on workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Analyze regional market conditions, competitive activity, customer trends, and business opportunities.
  • Lead regional change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, processes, standards, and operating practices.
  • Identify operational risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular performance reports, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement across regional operations, customer experience, and business performance.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive management and business leadership experience.
  • Significant experience managing regional, multi-site, distributed, or geographically diverse operations.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, financial performance, revenue targets, and operational KPIs.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing regional growth strategies.
  • Strong experience leading managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent understanding of business operations, financial management, customer relationships, and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, business intelligence, and performance management systems preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $260,000 – $390,000 annually, based on regional leadership experience, organizational scale, financial responsibility, industry expertise, geographic scope, and overall qualifications.
