We are seeking an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to lead the organization’s project governance framework, portfolio management processes, and enterprise project delivery standards. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives, improving project execution, managing project portfolios, and supporting executive decision-making through performance reporting and governance.
The PMO Manager partners closely with Executive Leadership, Information Technology, Finance, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Human Resources, and Business Leaders to ensure projects are aligned with corporate strategy, delivered on schedule, and executed within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) and establish project governance standards across the organization.
- Develop and maintain project management methodologies, policies, templates, and best practices.
- Oversee enterprise project portfolios, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational priorities.
- Manage project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and portfolio reporting.
- Monitor project performance, risks, dependencies, and financial health across multiple initiatives.
- Provide executive leadership with portfolio dashboards, KPI reporting, and strategic project recommendations.
- Partner with business leaders to prioritize initiatives and optimize resource utilization.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and delivery performance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and portfolio review sessions.
- Support organizational change management and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Mentor Project Managers, Program Managers, and Project Coordinators while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
- Promote Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies based on business needs.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline required.
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project, program, or portfolio management.
- Minimum of 3 years leading a Project Management Office or managing enterprise PMO functions.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, portfolio management, budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
- Experience leading enterprise digital transformation, technology implementation, or operational improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Planview, Monday.com, Asana, or similar project management platforms.
- PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Excellent executive communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Job Function

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package
Base Salary: $346,000 – $396,000 USD annually
Compensation is determined based on PMO leadership experience, portfolio complexity, enterprise project management expertise, geographic location, and overall qualifications.
