We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst to support inventory accuracy, stock optimization, operational reporting, and inventory control initiatives. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory integrity, identifying discrepancies, improving inventory processes, and supporting strategic supply chain decisions through data-driven analysis.

The Inventory Control Analyst partners with Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Planning, Distribution Centers, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure inventory records remain accurate while supporting efficient product movement and inventory optimization across enterprise operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records across multiple facilities.
Analyze inventory variances, stock discrepancies, and reconciliation activities.
Perform root cause analysis for inventory issues and recommend corrective actions.
Support cycle count programs, physical inventory audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Develop inventory performance reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
Monitor inventory turnover, stock levels, obsolete inventory, and replenishment performance.
Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, logistics, and planning teams to optimize inventory processes.
Utilize ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory data and reporting.
Support demand planning and inventory forecasting activities.
Identify opportunities to reduce inventory costs while improving service levels.
Maintain inventory documentation, standard operating procedures, and compliance records.
Assist with budgeting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting related to inventory assets.
Recommend continuous process improvements that enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and inventory management standards.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, or a related discipline required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain analysis.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable reporting tools.
Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise systems.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
Familiarity with inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, forecasting, and demand planning.
APICS CPIM, CSCP, or related supply chain certifications are preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Working Conditions

Fully Remote position within the United States.
Flexible schedule supporting collaboration across multiple U.S. time zones.
Approximately 5–10% domestic travel for warehouse visits, inventory audits, operational meetings, and training sessions.

Job Function

The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, analyzing inventory performance, supporting operational reporting, and improving inventory control processes across enterprise supply chain operations. Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $236,000 – $302,000 USD annually

Compensation is determined based on inventory management experience, analytical expertise, ERP knowledge, geographic location, certifications, and overall qualifications.
