We are seeking a highly analytical Inventory Analyst to support inventory planning, demand forecasting, replenishment strategies, and supply chain optimization initiatives. This role is responsible for monitoring inventory performance, analyzing trends, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and delivering actionable insights that improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
The Inventory Analyst collaborates with Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Distribution Centers, Merchandising, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure inventory levels align with customer demand and organizational objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment activities across multiple distribution channels.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, product availability, turnover, and service level performance.
- Develop inventory forecasts using historical data, demand trends, seasonality, and business intelligence.
- Identify excess inventory, slow-moving products, and stock-out risks while recommending corrective actions.
- Support purchasing and replenishment strategies to optimize inventory investment and customer service.
- Create executive dashboards, KPI reports, inventory scorecards, and operational performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Operations teams to improve inventory planning and warehouse efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support inventory audits, cycle counting programs, and compliance initiatives.
- Utilize ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory planning software to manage data accuracy.
- Assist with budgeting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting related to inventory assets.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance forecasting accuracy and operational productivity.
- Maintain documentation related to inventory procedures, reporting standards, and analytical methodologies.
- Stay informed on industry trends, inventory optimization tools, and supply chain best practices.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable analytics platforms.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, warehouse operations, and supply chain analytics.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory optimization software.
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or related supply chain certification is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package
Base Salary: $242,000 – $312,000 USD annually
Compensation is determined based on inventory planning experience, analytical expertise, supply chain knowledge, geographic location, certifications, and overall qualifications.
