About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and technically accomplished Infrastructure Manager to lead the organization’s IT infrastructure, cloud environments, systems operations, network services, and infrastructure reliability initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring highly available, secure, scalable, and efficient technology infrastructure that supports business operations and long-term growth.

As an Infrastructure Manager, you will oversee infrastructure engineering and operations while collaborating closely with Information Technology, Cybersecurity, DevOps, Software Engineering, Service Management, and Executive Leadership teams. You will lead infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, systems optimization, disaster recovery, business continuity, and technology operations initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with effective people leadership, operational discipline, and strategic thinking. Success in this role requires experience managing complex infrastructure environments, leading technical teams, optimizing cloud and on-premises systems, and maintaining high standards for security, reliability, and performance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations and strategic development of enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Manage servers, networks, storage, cloud platforms, virtualization, operating systems, and related infrastructure services.
  • Develop and execute infrastructure roadmaps aligned with organizational technology strategy.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, automation, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of critical technology systems.
  • Establish infrastructure monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and performance management practices.
  • Oversee backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience programs.
  • Partner with Cybersecurity teams to implement infrastructure security controls and vulnerability management practices.
  • Manage infrastructure vendors, service providers, contracts, and technology partnerships.
  • Develop infrastructure budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and technology investment recommendations.
  • Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and corrective action for significant infrastructure issues.
  • Establish infrastructure standards, policies, procedures, and operational documentation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to improve CI/CD infrastructure and automation.
  • Evaluate emerging infrastructure technologies and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop infrastructure engineers, administrators, and technical specialists.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and provide regular reports and recommendations to technology leadership.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, network operations, cloud infrastructure, or related technology roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing infrastructure teams or technical operations.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, servers, virtualization, storage, operating systems, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD technologies preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, identity management, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Experience managing technology vendors, budgets, contracts, and service-level agreements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and project management skills.

The Infrastructure Manager serves as a key technology leader responsible for maintaining a reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure environment. This role works closely with Technology Leadership, Cybersecurity, DevOps, Engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure capabilities support organizational objectives.

Through cloud modernization, automation, resilience planning, infrastructure optimization, security improvements, and operational excellence, this position contributes directly to technology reliability, business continuity, productivity, and long-term organizational growth.


Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote position within the United States.
  • Standard Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility for critical infrastructure incidents and maintenance activities.
  • Remote collaboration with distributed technology teams and vendors.
  • Occasional participation in after-hours maintenance, upgrades, or incident response.
  • Occasional travel for technology planning sessions, infrastructure projects, and company events.

The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading enterprise infrastructure operations, cloud environments, systems administration, network services, infrastructure security, disaster recovery, and technical operations teams. Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $220,000 – $320,000 annually, based on infrastructure leadership experience, cloud expertise, technical capabilities, organizational complexity, industry background, and overall qualifications.
