The HR Generalist will serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees while ensuring HR programs align with business objectives and employment regulations.
Working closely with HR leadership, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Learning & Development, and business leaders, you will contribute to initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, improve operational efficiency, support workforce planning, and foster employee development. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR partner for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, performance management, employee development, and offboarding.
- Assist Talent Acquisition with recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and hiring activities.
- Administer HR programs related to employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and organizational development.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters while helping resolve workplace concerns professionally and confidentially.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, employee inquiries, leave administration, and HR documentation.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring employee data changes are accurate and submitted on schedule.
- Assist with performance review cycles, goal-setting initiatives, and talent development programs.
- Participate in compensation benchmarking and HR reporting initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with employment laws, workplace regulations, and internal HR policies.
- Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and employee metrics for leadership.
- Assist in updating employee handbooks, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Support organizational change initiatives and workforce planning activities.
- Coordinate employee training, compliance programs, and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes and employee experience.
- Participate in HR system improvements and process automation projects.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 3–6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a Generalist or HR Business Partner capacity.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, HR operations, talent management, performance management, and employment compliance.
- Experience supporting multi-state U.S. employees is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and other applicable regulations.
- Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) such as Workday, ADP Workforce Now, UKG, BambooHR, or similar platforms.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are preferred.

The HR Generalist serves as a strategic partner by supporting initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, improve employee engagement, enhance workforce effectiveness, and ensure compliance with employment regulations. This role collaborates with HR leadership and business managers to implement people strategies that align with organizational goals while supporting talent development, operational excellence, and long-term workforce planning.
Additionally, the HR Generalist contributes to policy development, HR process optimization, change management initiatives, workforce analytics, and employee experience programs that help attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Working Conditions
- Fully remote position based within the United States.
- Standard Monday–Friday business schedule with flexibility to support employees across multiple U.S. time zones.
- Frequent virtual collaboration using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, and HR technology platforms.
- Primarily computer-based work requiring extended periods of screen time.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $80,000 – $110,000 annually, based on experience, HR expertise, certifications, geographic location within the United States, and overall qualifications.
