The Finance Analyst serves as a trusted business partner, collaborating closely with Accounting, Corporate Finance, Operations, Sales, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to analyze financial data, monitor key performance indicators, and support organizational planning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance, operational results, and business trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and budget analyses to support business planning initiatives.
- Monitor departmental budgets, operating expenses, revenue performance, and profitability metrics.
- Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers impacting financial performance.
- Collaborate with Accounting during month-end and year-end financial close activities.
- Support annual budgeting, long-range planning, and forecasting processes.
- Analyze investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and business cases for strategic initiatives.
- Develop financial reports using ERP systems, business intelligence platforms, and advanced Excel models.
- Ensure financial data integrity while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Assist leadership with strategic planning, pricing analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and financial documentation requirements.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or business analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and corporate finance principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- CPA, CMA, CFA, or FP&A certification is considered an asset.

Job Function

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package
Base Salary: $210,000 – $285,000 USD annually
Compensation is determined based on financial analysis experience, technical expertise, industry background, geographic location, and overall qualifications.
