We are seeking an accomplished District Manager to lead multi-unit operations across a dynamic retail organization committed to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth. As the District Manager, you will partner with Regional Leadership, Store Managers, Human Resources, Finance, Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to ensure every location consistently achieves operational, financial, and service excellence objectives. You will provide strategic direction, performance coaching, and operational oversight while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational performance of multiple retail locations within the assigned district.
  • Develop and execute district business strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop Store Managers and district leadership teams.
  • Monitor sales performance, labor productivity, operating expenses, and key performance indicators across all assigned locations.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, operational audits, and performance evaluations to ensure consistent execution of company standards.
  • Partner with Human Resources to support workforce planning, succession planning, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and product launches.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Analyze district performance data to identify business opportunities, operational risks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, community partners, and regional stakeholders to strengthen brand presence.
  • Oversee inventory management, loss prevention initiatives, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Support new store openings, remodels, acquisitions, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Prepare executive reports, financial forecasts, and strategic recommendations for Regional Leadership.
  • Resolve complex operational challenges while maintaining exceptional customer and employee experiences.
  • Promote a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Retail Management, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in retail, hospitality, consumer goods, or multi-unit operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing multiple business locations.
  • Proven success leading large teams while achieving sales, operational, and financial performance goals.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, financial management, workforce planning, inventory control, and customer experience strategies.
  • Experience using business intelligence platforms, ERP systems, workforce management, and reporting tools.
  • Outstanding financial, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned district.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by automobile and air as business needs require.

Strategic Support

The District Manager serves as a strategic business leader responsible for aligning district operations with organizational objectives while driving financial performance, workforce development, customer engagement, and operational excellence. Working Conditions

  • Fully remote position within the United States with frequent travel throughout the assigned district.
  • Standard Monday through Friday leadership schedule with flexibility to support operational needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Regular travel to retail locations, regional meetings, leadership conferences, and customer events.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $210,000 – $295,000 annually, based on leadership experience, multi-unit operational expertise, financial performance, and overall qualifications.
