Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enterprise Innovation Strategy

• Develop and execute a long-term innovation strategy aligned with corporate objectives, growth initiatives, and market opportunities.
• Identify disruptive technologies, emerging business models, and evolving customer demands that can influence future organizational direction.
• Build innovation roadmaps that prioritize investments in research, product development, operational transformation, and customer experience.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on innovation trends and competitive positioning.

Research, Emerging Technologies & Market Intelligence

• Monitor advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, automation, cybersecurity, digital platforms, sustainability, and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate new technologies for commercial viability and enterprise adoption.
• Conduct market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and innovation ecosystem analysis.
• Develop business cases supporting investment decisions and strategic partnerships.

Innovation Program Leadership

• Lead enterprise innovation programs from ideation through pilot testing, commercialization, and enterprise deployment.
• Establish innovation governance frameworks, evaluation methodologies, and performance metrics.
• Oversee cross-functional innovation portfolios while ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Promote experimentation through design thinking, agile methodologies, rapid prototyping, and innovation labs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, IT, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Customer Success, and Strategy teams to accelerate innovation initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with universities, startups, venture capital firms, technology partners, and industry associations.
• Facilitate executive innovation workshops and strategic planning sessions.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments involving emerging technologies.

Digital Transformation & Organizational Change

• Drive enterprise digital transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, customer engagement, and business performance.
• Champion adoption of AI-driven automation, analytics, and intelligent business processes.
• Foster a culture that encourages creativity, collaboration, continuous improvement, and calculated risk-taking.
• Lead organizational change initiatives supporting innovation adoption across business functions.

Innovation Measurement & Business Performance

• Define KPIs to measure innovation effectiveness, commercialization success, operational improvements, and return on investment.
• Present innovation portfolio performance and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees.
• Manage innovation budgets, resource allocation, and investment priorities.
• Ensure innovation initiatives contribute measurable financial and operational value.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology Management, Innovation Management, or related field required.
• MBA, Master’s degree, or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline strongly preferred.
• 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in innovation, strategy, product development, research, consulting, or technology transformation.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise innovation programs within global organizations.
• Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cloud technologies, data analytics, automation, design thinking, and agile methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, innovation portfolios, and executive-level strategic initiatives.
• Excellent financial, commercial, and business case development capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive organization-wide change.

Compensation Package: $305,000 – $420,000
