Your Role at the Company
As Director of Engineering, you will lead engineering teams responsible for designing, building, and scaling core products and platforms. You will operate at the intersection of technology, product, and business—ensuring that engineering execution aligns with strategic priorities.
This role goes beyond team management. You will shape engineering culture, drive architectural decisions, improve delivery velocity, and build systems that are resilient, scalable, and future-ready.
You will work closely with Product, Design, Data, and Executive Leadership to translate business needs into technical execution, while building a high-performing engineering organization.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and scale multiple engineering teams across key product and platform areas.
- Define technical strategy, architecture direction, and engineering best practices.
- Partner with Product and Business leaders to align engineering priorities with company goals.
- Drive delivery excellence across development cycles, ensuring quality and scalability.
- Build and mentor engineering leaders, fostering a culture of ownership and innovation.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and security across platforms.
- Establish development frameworks, coding standards, and review processes.
- Oversee hiring, team structuring, and long-term talent development.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks across systems and infrastructure.
- Contribute to strategic planning, roadmap development, and execution tracking.
What You’ll Bring
- 10–15+ years of experience in software engineering, including leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in scalable, production environments.
- Strong background in modern architectures (cloud, microservices, distributed systems).
- Experience working across multiple industries or complex enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated ability to align engineering efforts with business outcomes.
- Experience managing cross-functional collaboration with product and operations teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
