We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide advanced anesthesia services while supporting perioperative planning, patient assessment, clinical quality initiatives, and multidisciplinary collaboration. This leadership-focused position combines direct clinical expertise with opportunities to contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, anesthesia protocol development, and organizational excellence.
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will collaborate with Anesthesiologists, Surgeons, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, Registered Nurses, Surgical Services, Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy, and Executive Clinical Leadership to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate anesthesia care throughout the perioperative continuum.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and patient risk assessments.
- Develop individualized anesthesia care plans based on clinical findings and surgical requirements.
- Administer general, regional, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and sedation in accordance with clinical privileges and evidence-based practice.
- Continuously monitor patients throughout surgical and procedural care while ensuring optimal physiological stability.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide post-anesthesia evaluations and coordinate recovery management.
- Support emergency airway management and advanced resuscitation procedures.
- Participate in perioperative quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, accreditation standards, and professional practice guidelines.
- Participate in peer review, clinical education, and continuing professional development programs.
- Mentor newly hired CRNAs and nursing professionals while promoting evidence-based anesthesia practices.
- Contribute to policy development, protocol standardization, and anesthesia service optimization.
- Support organizational initiatives focused on patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and operational excellence.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP), or Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
- Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in the appropriate state(s).
- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience providing anesthesia services in hospital or surgical environments.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications where applicable.
- Strong experience with a broad range of surgical specialties and anesthesia techniques.
- Proficiency using electronic health record systems and perioperative documentation platforms.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and patient advocacy skills.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package
Base Salary: $302,000 – $372,000 USD annually
Compensation is determined based on clinical experience, specialty expertise, certifications, geographic location, leadership responsibilities, and overall qualifications.
