About the Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the organization’s global marketing strategy, brand development, demand generation, customer acquisition, market expansion, and overall marketing performance.
The CMO will serve as a strategic member of the executive leadership team, partnering closely with the CEO, CFO, COO, Chief Product Officer, and other senior leaders to connect marketing investment with measurable business growth.
The ideal candidate brings significant experience building high-performing marketing organizations, developing differentiated brands, driving customer growth, and leading marketing transformation at scale.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization’s global marketing strategy.
- Establish marketing priorities aligned with corporate growth and revenue objectives.
- Lead brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and corporate reputation.
- Oversee demand generation, customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and retention initiatives.
- Develop integrated go-to-market strategies across digital, content, social, advertising, events, and partnerships.
- Drive market expansion, customer segmentation, and portfolio-growth strategies.
- Establish marketing KPIs, performance standards, and measurement frameworks.
- Analyze customer insights, market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Build a data-driven marketing organization focused on measurable commercial outcomes.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development to optimize pipeline generation and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Product leadership on product positioning, launches, and market adoption.
- Oversee marketing technology, automation, analytics, CRM, and customer-data capabilities.
- Develop and manage the organization’s marketing budget and investment strategy.
- Evaluate marketing ROI and reallocate resources toward the highest-value initiatives.
- Lead agency relationships, strategic partnerships, media programs, and external marketing resources.
- Strengthen customer engagement and long-term brand equity.
- Establish thought-leadership, communications, and executive visibility strategies.
- Lead crisis communications and reputation-management initiatives when required.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing marketing leaders and teams.
- Establish organizational structures, talent strategies, and succession plans for the marketing function.
- Present marketing performance, strategic priorities, market opportunities, and investment recommendations to the CEO, executive team, and Board.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced business/marketing degree strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive marketing experience.
- 7+ years of senior marketing leadership experience.
- Proven experience serving as a CMO, SVP Marketing, VP Marketing, or comparable executive.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise-wide marketing strategies.
- Strong experience with brand building, demand generation, customer acquisition, and go-to-market strategy.
- Proven ability to connect marketing programs to revenue, profitability, and business growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, marketing technology, analytics, CRM, and automation.
- Experience managing substantial marketing budgets and distributed teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing marketing organizations.
- Strong executive presence and experience working directly with C-suite leadership and Boards.

Strategic Support
The Chief Marketing Officer will be a central architect of the organization’s growth strategy. This executive will connect brand equity, customer insight, marketing innovation, demand generation, and commercial execution to create sustainable competitive advantage.
The CMO will also advise the CEO and Board on market opportunities, customer trends, competitive positioning, brand health, growth investments, and emerging risks.
Working Conditions
- Fully Remote executive position within the United States.
- Executive schedule with flexibility for global business requirements.
- Frequent collaboration with the CEO, executive leadership, Board members, customers, partners, and external agencies.
- Primarily computer-based strategic and leadership work.
- Significant domestic and international travel may be required for executive meetings, customer engagements, conferences, industry events, and company initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $440,000 – $500,000 annually, based on executive experience, organizational scale, marketing budget responsibility, industry expertise, growth track record, and overall qualifications.
