About the Opportunity
We are seeking a technically strong Quality Engineering professional to support quality assurance, product reliability, process improvement, testing, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
This role will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to identify defects, improve processes, establish quality standards, and ensure products and systems consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality engineering processes, standards, and procedures.
- Analyze product, process, and system performance to identify quality issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Design and execute testing, validation, inspection, and verification activities.
- Develop quality metrics, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Identify process variations, defects, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to resolve technical quality issues.
- Support product development and new-product introduction activities.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, specifications, and test procedures.
- Apply statistical methods and data analysis to monitor process performance.
- Participate in failure analysis and technical investigations.
- Support supplier quality assessments and corrective-action activities.
- Conduct process capability studies and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Assist with audits, compliance activities, and quality-system requirements.
- Establish and monitor key quality indicators and performance targets.
- Evaluate engineering changes and assess their potential quality impact.
- Support automation and technology initiatives that improve quality control.
- Recommend improvements to manufacturing, engineering, testing, and inspection processes.
- Maintain accurate technical records and quality documentation.
- Promote a culture of quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of quality engineering or related engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of quality-management principles and engineering methodologies.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and quality-data analysis.
- Experience with tools such as FMEA, 8D, CAPA, SPC, MSA, and control plans.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other applicable quality standards.
- Experience with quality-management systems and engineering documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data-analysis tools.
- Experience with CAD, ERP, PLM, or quality-management software preferred.
- ASQ certification such as CQE is a plus.

The position also supports continuous improvement by identifying systemic quality issues and developing sustainable corrective and preventive solutions.
Working Conditions
- Fully Remote position within the United States.
- Standard Monday through Friday schedule.
- Occasional flexibility may be required for production, testing, or engineering project milestones.
- Frequent virtual collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
- Primarily computer-based technical and analytical work.
- Occasional travel may be required for manufacturing facilities, supplier visits, audits, testing activities, or engineering meetings.
Job Function
The Quality Engineering function focuses on product and process quality, testing, validation, root-cause analysis, statistical analysis, corrective action, continuous improvement, supplier quality, and engineering quality assurance.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $125,000 – $195,000 annually, based on engineering experience, quality specialization, industry expertise, technical complexity, certifications, and overall qualifications.
