About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven District Sales Manager to lead sales performance across an assigned territory, develop high-performing sales teams, strengthen strategic customer relationships, and deliver sustainable revenue growth. This role will establish territory strategies, manage sales forecasts, coach sales professionals, and identify opportunities to expand market presence.

The District Sales Manager will collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success, Operations, Product, and Executive Leadership to execute regional sales strategies and achieve revenue objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong sales leadership with market knowledge, analytical capabilities, relationship-building skills, and a proven record of exceeding targets.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute district-level sales strategies aligned with corporate revenue objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop sales representatives across the assigned territory.
  • Establish territory sales goals, quotas, KPIs, and performance expectations.
  • Analyze district performance, market trends, customer activity, and competitive conditions.
  • Manage sales pipelines and maintain accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance coaching sessions.
  • Identify new customer acquisition and market expansion opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
  • Support sales representatives in complex negotiations and high-value opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to improve lead generation and territory campaigns.
  • Partner with Customer Success to support customer retention and account expansion.
  • Monitor sales activity, conversion rates, revenue growth, and territory profitability.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent as business requirements evolve.
  • Prepare district performance reports and executive-level sales updates.
  • Establish best practices and promote consistent sales processes across the district.
  • Identify operational barriers and implement initiatives to improve sales productivity.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify emerging business opportunities.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive sales experience.
  • 3+ years of sales management or territory leadership experience.
  • Proven success managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience managing a multi-market territory or district preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B, enterprise, technology, SaaS, or professional-services sales.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and sales analytics.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage distributed sales teams within a remote operating model.

Strategic Support

The District Sales Manager is responsible for translating corporate sales objectives into actionable territory strategies and measurable commercial performance. This role provides leadership across customer acquisition, market development, pipeline growth, sales forecasting, and team productivity.

Through data-driven territory management, coaching, strategic account development, and market analysis, the position contributes directly to revenue growth, customer expansion, competitive positioning, and long-term market success.


Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote position within the United States.
  • Standard Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility for customer and team meetings across multiple time zones.
  • Frequent virtual collaboration with sales representatives, customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
  • Primarily computer-based work using CRM, sales analytics, communication, and collaboration platforms.
  • Occasional domestic travel for customer meetings, sales events, conferences, and leadership meetings.

Compensation & Benefits
