About the Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished and relationship-driven Director of Partnerships to lead the development, expansion, and management of strategic partnerships that accelerate business growth, strengthen market presence, and create long-term commercial value. This leadership role will identify high-value partnership opportunities, build executive relationships, negotiate strategic agreements, and develop scalable partnership programs.
The Director of Partnerships will collaborate closely with Executive Leadership, Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and Operations to develop partnerships aligned with organizational priorities. This role will oversee the complete partnership lifecycle, from market identification and relationship development through negotiation, launch, performance management, and expansion.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise relationship management, and commercial negotiations. Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, executive presence, analytical capabilities, negotiation expertise, and the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with organizations and senior decision-makers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities across target markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior executives, strategic partners, technology providers, and industry organizations.
- Lead partnership development from initial prospecting through negotiation, contracting, launch, and ongoing management.
- Develop partnership business cases, financial models, proposals, and strategic recommendations.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, partnership terms, revenue structures, and strategic arrangements.
- Collaborate with Product teams to identify integration, co-development, and product collaboration opportunities.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop joint go-to-market initiatives and revenue programs.
- Establish partnership performance metrics, targets, reporting frameworks, and review processes.
- Monitor partner performance and identify opportunities for optimization, expansion, and increased commercial value.
- Develop strategic alliances, channel relationships, referral programs, and ecosystem partnerships.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams responsible for partnership implementation and delivery.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify emerging partnership opportunities.
- Present partnership strategies, forecasts, performance reports, and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Manage partnership budgets and resources while ensuring strong financial discipline.
- Develop and maintain a high-quality pipeline of strategic partnership opportunities.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, executive meetings, and strategic business events.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or a related discipline.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, alliances, or related commercial functions.
- Proven experience developing and managing complex strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated success negotiating high-value commercial agreements and executive-level relationships.
- Strong understanding of partnership models, channel development, joint ventures, alliances, and ecosystem strategies.
- Experience developing revenue-generating partnership programs.
- Strong financial, analytical, forecasting, and business case development capabilities.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Operations.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $250,000 – $380,000 annually, including base compensation and performance-based incentives, based on partnership leadership experience, strategic account expertise, industry background, deal complexity, and overall qualifications.
