Our Skilled Trades Workforce team is responsible for attracting, coordinating, developing, and supporting a diverse network of skilled professionals, including electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, welders, carpenters, heavy equipment operators, maintenance technicians, and other trade specialists. We are seeking an experienced Trade Jobs Workforce professional to coordinate workforce planning, skilled trades recruitment, employee engagement, scheduling, compliance, and workforce development initiatives. This role serves as a key liaison between operations, project managers, field supervisors, talent acquisition teams, and skilled trade professionals to ensure workforce availability, productivity, and operational success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate workforce planning for skilled trade projects across multiple locations.
  • Partner with project managers to forecast workforce requirements and staffing needs.
  • Recruit, onboard, and coordinate qualified skilled trade professionals.
  • Maintain workforce schedules, assignments, and labor availability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and labor requirements.
  • Support apprenticeship, training, and workforce development programs.
  • Maintain workforce records, certifications, licenses, and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor workforce productivity, attendance, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Operations, Safety, and Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Resolve workforce scheduling challenges and staffing shortages.
  • Prepare workforce reports, dashboards, and operational summaries.
  • Assist with vendor, subcontractor, and union workforce coordination where applicable.
  • Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Support special workforce initiatives and operational improvement projects.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Construction Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in workforce management, skilled trades operations, construction staffing, industrial operations, or labor coordination.
  • Experience supporting skilled trade professionals in construction, manufacturing, utilities, or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of workforce scheduling systems, HRIS platforms, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and workforce compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of labor planning, staffing strategies, and workforce analytics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote position within the United States with regular collaboration with field operations.
  • Flexible work schedule supporting multiple project locations and U.S. time zones.
  • Approximately 20–25% domestic travel to project sites, workforce meetings, hiring events, and training programs.

Job Function

The Trade Jobs Workforce professional is responsible for coordinating skilled trades staffing, workforce planning, recruitment, compliance, scheduling, and employee support across multiple operational projects. This role works closely with business leaders to ensure qualified professionals are available to meet project demands while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity. Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $254,000 – $326,000 USD annually

Compensation is determined based on workforce management experience, industry expertise, leadership capabilities, geographic location, education, certifications, and overall qualifications.
