We are seeking a highly analytical Collections Analyst to support enterprise accounts receivable and collections operations. This role is responsible for analyzing outstanding receivables, resolving payment discrepancies, monitoring customer accounts, and partnering with internal stakeholders to improve cash collections and minimize financial risk.
The Collections Analyst collaborates with Finance, Credit, Sales, Customer Success, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and external customers to ensure timely collections, accurate account reconciliation, and continuous process improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts to identify delinquent balances and collection opportunities.
- Analyze aging reports, payment trends, and accounts receivable performance metrics.
- Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices while maintaining professional business relationships.
- Investigate and resolve payment disputes, billing discrepancies, and account reconciliation issues.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Credit teams to resolve complex collection matters.
- Prepare cash collection forecasts, aging reports, and executive performance dashboards.
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable and collections.
- Recommend payment plans and collection strategies while minimizing financial risk.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer communications and collection activities.
- Assist with credit evaluations, account reviews, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and applicable regulations.
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities that enhance collections efficiency.
- Support internal and external audit activities related to accounts receivable operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer financial information and company records.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit analysis, financial operations, or corporate accounting.
- Experience using ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or comparable financial systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, credit management, cash application, and financial reconciliation.
- Familiarity with GAAP, internal controls, and financial compliance standards.
- Professional certifications related to finance, credit, or accounting are considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.

Job Function
The Collections Analyst is responsible for managing accounts receivable collections, analyzing customer payment behavior, resolving account discrepancies, and improving enterprise cash collection performance. This role partners with finance, sales, customer service, treasury, and credit teams to reduce financial risk while supporting strong customer relationships and operational excellence. Success is measured through collections performance, days sales outstanding (DSO), payment accuracy, customer satisfaction, compliance, and overall financial impact.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package
Base Salary: $238,000 – $298,000 USD annually
Compensation is determined based on collections experience, financial analysis expertise, ERP knowledge, geographic location, certifications, and overall qualifications.
