We are seeking an experienced Manager, International Tax to lead international tax planning, global tax compliance, transfer pricing support, and cross-border tax advisory initiatives. This leadership role will oversee complex international tax matters while partnering with executive leadership to support global expansion, regulatory compliance, and strategic business initiatives.

The Manager, International Tax will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, Corporate Development, External Advisors, and Regional Business Leaders to ensure compliance with U.S. and international tax laws while identifying opportunities for tax optimization and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead global international tax planning initiatives supporting worldwide business operations.
  • Manage U.S. international tax compliance, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and foreign tax credit calculations.
  • Support OECD Pillar Two implementation and compliance initiatives where applicable.
  • Oversee transfer pricing documentation, intercompany transactions, and tax reporting requirements.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams on quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740.
  • Advise executive leadership on cross-border transactions, mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and global expansion strategies.
  • Monitor international tax legislation, regulatory developments, and emerging compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate international tax audits, regulatory inquiries, and relationships with external tax advisors.
  • Review legal entity structures and recommend tax-efficient operating models.
  • Develop and implement tax policies, internal controls, and governance procedures.
  • Support Treasury with repatriation planning, cash management, and international financing strategies.
  • Mentor tax professionals while fostering technical development and leadership growth.
  • Prepare executive presentations, tax risk assessments, and strategic planning reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, technology adoption, and process optimization.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or Business Administration required.
  • Master’s degree in Taxation (MST), MBA, or Juris Doctor (JD) with tax specialization preferred.
  • Active CPA, JD, or equivalent professional designation strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive international tax experience within a multinational corporation or Big Four public accounting firm.
  • Strong expertise in U.S. international tax regulations, OECD guidance, transfer pricing, and global tax compliance.
  • Experience with ASC 740, tax provision calculations, and multinational tax reporting.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, or Workday, along with tax technology platforms such as OneSource or Corptax.
  • Strong financial analysis, project management, and executive communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex global tax projects.

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote position within the United States.

Job Function

The Manager, International Tax is responsible for leading global tax planning, international tax compliance, transfer pricing, and cross-border advisory services that support enterprise growth and regulatory compliance. This role partners with executive leadership, finance, legal, and business operations to develop tax-efficient strategies, manage global tax risk, and ensure compliance with evolving international tax laws. Success is measured through compliance accuracy, tax optimization, operational efficiency, risk management, stakeholder satisfaction, and strategic business impact.


Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $352,000 – $396,000 USD annually

Compensation is determined based on international tax expertise, multinational corporate experience, leadership capabilities, geographic location, certifications, and overall qualifications.
