We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize a wide range of industrial equipment and technology systems. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional technical support while ensuring customer satisfaction, equipment reliability, and compliance with industry safety standards.
The Service Technician collaborates with Engineering, Technical Support, Field Service Managers, Customer Success, Operations, Product Development, and Supply Chain teams to deliver timely service solutions and maintain long-term customer relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Diagnose technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools, software, and testing equipment.
- Respond to customer service requests while providing timely technical support and issue resolution.
- Conduct equipment commissioning, system calibration, performance testing, and operational verification.
- Complete detailed service reports, maintenance records, inspection documentation, and customer communication.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and recommend product improvements.
- Educate customers on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and quality procedures.
- Manage replacement parts inventory, service tools, and equipment required for field assignments.
- Support warranty repairs, equipment upgrades, and modernization projects.
- Participate in emergency service response and scheduled maintenance programs as required.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Stay current with evolving technologies, equipment updates, and technical certifications.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent training in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, industrial service, or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, automation systems, or electromechanical machinery.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, industrial controls, automation technologies, and diagnostic software is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to customer locations.
- OSHA, NFPA, HVAC, OEM equipment certifications, or other industry-recognized technical certifications are considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and technical problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions
- Remote position with frequent travel to customer facilities throughout assigned territories.
- Approximately 50–75% domestic travel depending on customer requirements.

- Dynamic field environment requiring occasional lifting, climbing, standing, and working in industrial settings while following all safety protocols.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package
Base Salary: $218,000 – $286,000 USD annually
Compensation is determined based on technical expertise, field service experience, certifications, geographic location, equipment specialization, and overall qualifications.
