Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for enterprise applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance, performance, and automated testing activities.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and reusable test scripts.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to validate new features and enhancements.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirements reviews, and agile development ceremonies.
- Validate APIs, web applications, cloud services, mobile applications, and enterprise platforms.
- Conduct performance, scalability, reliability, and stress testing activities.
- Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) quality assurance processes.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve software quality and reliability.
- Assist in the development of quality standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Perform risk assessments and quality evaluations throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create detailed testing documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to support test environment management.
- Stay informed on emerging testing tools, automation technologies, and industry best practices.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, test engineering, or quality engineering.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise software systems.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or comparable platforms.
- Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or Azure Test Plans.
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles and testing methodologies.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $180,000 – $260,000 annually, based on testing expertise, automation capabilities, technical skills, certifications, industry experience, and overall qualifications.
