Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Build, optimize, and manage ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Develop database objects including stored procedures, views, functions, and optimized SQL queries.
- Design and maintain data models, schemas, and data integration frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather technical and functional data requirements.
- Integrate enterprise applications, cloud platforms, APIs, and third-party data sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, quality, security, and compliance across enterprise systems.
- Optimize database performance, query execution, and data processing efficiency.
- Support cloud-based data platforms utilizing Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Partner with Data Scientists and Business Intelligence teams to deliver reliable datasets for reporting and advanced analytics.
- Participate in code reviews, system testing, deployment planning, and release management.
- Troubleshoot data integration issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve production incidents.
- Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, metadata, and development standards.
- Implement data governance, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Evaluate emerging data technologies and recommend improvements that enhance scalability and operational performance.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in data development, database development, ETL development, or data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Experience developing ETL/ELT solutions using tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of programming languages including Python, Java, Scala, or C# is preferred.
- Experience with cloud data platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and business intelligence concepts.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $155,000 – $225,000 annually, based on experience, technical expertise, cloud technologies, and overall qualifications.
