We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to join a growing healthcare and life sciences organization dedicated to innovation, operational excellence, and employee development. This leadership role is responsible for managing the organization’s Human Resources function while partnering with executive and operational leaders to develop workforce strategies that strengthen employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and long-term business performance.

As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Learning & Development, Workforce Planning, Compliance, and Employee Engagement initiatives. Working closely with Executive Leadership, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and department managers, you will develop and implement people-focused programs that support organizational growth while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative HR leader with a strong understanding of modern Human Resources practices, organizational development, and employment law. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day Human Resources operations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business priorities.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations matters, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Administer performance management programs, leadership development initiatives, and employee coaching activities.
  • Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits teams to support salary administration, incentive programs, and total rewards strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, labor regulations, and internal policies.
  • Analyze workforce metrics, HR dashboards, turnover trends, and employee engagement data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, culture enhancement programs, and process improvement projects.
  • Oversee HRIS administration, personnel records, reporting accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Develop and implement learning and development programs that enhance employee capabilities and leadership effectiveness.
  • Prepare departmental budgets, monitor Human Resources expenditures, and support financial planning activities.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to minimize organizational risk and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor and develop Human Resources team members while fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Promote a workplace culture centered on diversity, inclusion, accountability, and employee well-being.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning, compensation, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Experience within healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated industries is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, and related regulations.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or ADP Workforce Now.
  • Professional certifications including SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Strategic Support

The Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic business partner responsible for aligning Human Resources initiatives with organizational objectives while strengthening employee engagement, leadership development, workforce planning, and operational performance. This role collaborates closely with Executive Leadership, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and department managers to implement scalable people strategies that support business growth and organizational effectiveness.

Through talent management, employee relations, organizational development, workforce analytics, and continuous process improvement, this position directly contributes to employee retention, leadership capability, operational excellence, and long-term organizational success.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading Human Resources operations by overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives. This role partners with business leaders to develop strategic workforce solutions that strengthen organizational performance, improve employee experience, and support long-term business growth.


Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Package: $170,000 – $245,000 annually, based on leadership experience, Human Resources expertise, industry knowledge, certifications, and overall qualifications.
