Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation based on business and technical requirements.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Validate software functionality across web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
- Perform API, database, and backend validation to ensure application reliability and data integrity.
- Support automation initiatives by collaborating with QA Automation Engineers to improve testing efficiency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Verify defect resolutions and perform regression testing before production deployments.
- Monitor software quality metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure applications meet organizational quality standards, security requirements, and compliance expectations.
- Assist in maintaining QA documentation, testing standards, and best practices.
- Support production releases by performing deployment validation and post-release testing.
- Participate in root cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA methodologies, tools, and testing processes.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Application Testing.
- Experience testing enterprise web applications, cloud platforms, or SaaS solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with SQL and database validation techniques.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks is considered an asset.
- Understanding of software release management and version control processes.
- Knowledge of test management tools and documentation standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $95,000 – $135,000 annually, based on experience, technical expertise, and overall qualifications.
