The Vice President, Human Resources will oversee every aspect of the Human Resources organization, including Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Organizational Development, Total Rewards, Leadership Development, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, HR Operations, Workforce Planning, Compensation, Benefits, Compliance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), Employee Experience, HR Technology, and Change Management.
As a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership Team, this leader will collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Technology, Risk Management, Operations, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders to ensure workforce strategies align with evolving business objectives. This role requires a forward-thinking executive capable of balancing strategic leadership with operational excellence while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture that attracts and retains top talent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise Human Resources strategy aligned with corporate vision, business goals, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Serve as the principal strategic HR advisor to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors.
- Lead all Human Resources functions, including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, and HR Technology.
- Design enterprise workforce planning strategies that support organizational scalability, succession planning, and leadership continuity.
- Oversee executive compensation programs, incentive plans, performance management frameworks, and leadership assessment initiatives.
- Drive executive succession planning and high-potential talent development programs across the organization.
- Champion Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and employee engagement.
- Lead organizational design, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions integration, and enterprise change management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while maintaining effective governance and risk management practices.
- Partner with Finance to develop workforce budgets, compensation planning, and labor cost forecasting.
- Modernize HR systems and digital employee experiences through the implementation of enterprise HR technologies and workforce analytics platforms.
- Develop employee engagement strategies that improve retention, productivity, and organizational performance.
- Establish enterprise HR dashboards, KPIs, and workforce analytics to support executive decision-making.
- Guide employee relations strategies while promoting a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
- Build strategic partnerships with executive leaders to align talent strategies with operational priorities.
- Present HR initiatives, workforce trends, succession planning updates, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board.
- Mentor and develop senior HR leaders while fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- MBA, Master’s degree, or advanced graduate degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum 15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including executive-level responsibilities.
- 8+ years leading enterprise Human Resources organizations within large, complex, multi-location businesses.
- Experience within financial services, banking, fintech, technology, professional services, or similarly regulated industries is preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation, executive talent management, leadership development, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of executive compensation, organizational effectiveness, succession planning, HR operations, employee engagement, and total rewards.
- Strong understanding of federal and multi-state employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, NLRA, and related employment regulations.
- Experience implementing enterprise HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG, or similar systems.
- Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing enterprise HR budgets and workforce planning.
- Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, organizational restructuring, or enterprise transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
- Executive HR certifications, including SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, or equivalent credentials, are strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $310,000 – $465,000 annually, based on executive leadership experience, organizational scope, industry expertise, geographic location within the United States, and overall qualifications.
