As we continue expanding our operational footprint, we are seeking a highly motivated Operations Supervisor to oversee daily facility operations, lead frontline teams, improve productivity, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. This role is responsible for supervising operational workflows, monitoring key performance metrics, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and developing high-performing teams within a fast-paced distribution environment.
The ideal candidate is an experienced operations leader who excels at motivating teams, improving processes, managing multiple priorities, and delivering measurable operational results while maintaining a strong focus on employee engagement and workplace safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily Operations Management
- Supervise daily operational activities across warehouse, fulfillment, transportation, or distribution functions to ensure efficient workflow execution.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, equipment utilization, and work assignments to meet productivity targets.
- Monitor daily operational performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure operational procedures are consistently followed while maintaining service quality and efficiency.
Team Leadership & Workforce Development
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop frontline associates, team leads, and operational staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and employee development discussions.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning initiatives.
Performance & Productivity
- Monitor key operational metrics including productivity, labor efficiency, order accuracy, inventory performance, shipping performance, and customer service levels.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity while reducing operational costs.
- Ensure departmental KPIs consistently meet or exceed established performance standards.
Safety, Compliance & Quality
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and operational procedures.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and inventory accuracy requirements.
- Promote a culture of workplace safety through employee education and continuous monitoring.
Inventory & Resource Management
- Support inventory control processes including cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and stock accuracy.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and operational resource allocation.
- Collaborate with procurement, transportation, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory flow.
- Assist with capacity planning during seasonal demand fluctuations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations Management, Human Resources, Transportation, Customer Service, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Communicate operational priorities and business objectives across departments.
- Participate in facility improvement projects and operational transformation initiatives.
- Prepare operational reports for leadership review.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 4–7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, fulfillment, or distribution environments.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, labor planning, safety compliance, and operational performance metrics.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, Microsoft Office, and operational reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and peak operational periods as business demands require.

Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Package: $110,000 – $165,000
