The Senior Software Engineer will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, improving, and supporting software systems that power customer-facing products, internal platforms, business workflows, data services, and enterprise technology capabilities.
The selected candidate will work closely with Engineering Leadership, Product Management, Design, Data Engineering, DevOps, Security, QA, Customer Success, Support, and business stakeholders to ensure software solutions are reliable, secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with customer and business needs. This role will support both new product development and modernization of existing systems, including architecture improvements, performance tuning, code quality improvements, system integrations, and production support.

Your Role at the Company
As Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, test, deploy, and improve software applications, backend services, APIs, platform components, integrations, internal tools, and customer-facing product features.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code, improving system performance, supporting architecture decisions, maintaining production reliability, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and helping raise engineering standards across the organization.

What You’ll Do
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications, backend services, APIs, integrations, platform components, and internal tools.
Build reliable customer-facing and internal product features that support business workflows, digital experiences, automation, analytics, and enterprise operations.
Partner with Product Management and Design to understand customer needs, clarify requirements, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and deliver practical software solutions.
Partner with DevOps, Platform, and Site Reliability teams to improve deployments, observability, monitoring, incident response, system reliability, and production readiness.
Partner with Security teams to support secure development practices, access controls, authentication, authorization, vulnerability remediation, encryption, and compliance expectations.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern software engineering practices and team standards.
Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, event-driven workflows, application services, database logic, background jobs, and integration layers.
Improve software performance, scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, maintainability, cost efficiency, and operational stability.
Review code, provide constructive feedback, support design discussions, and help improve engineering quality across the team.
Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs and metrics, identify root causes, resolve defects, and implement long-term fixes.
Improve automated testing through unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, API tests, performance checks, and reliable validation workflows.
Support technical planning by estimating work, identifying risks, documenting decisions, clarifying dependencies, and communicating progress.
Contribute to architecture improvements, system modernization, refactoring efforts, technical debt reduction, and platform scalability initiatives.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers by providing practical guidance, technical coaching, design feedback, and code review support.
What You’ll Bring
6+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable applications, backend services, APIs, enterprise software, cloud platforms, or distributed systems.
Experience working within enterprise SaaS, AI-enabled technology, cloud platforms, fintech, healthcare technology, cybersecurity, ecommerce, data platforms, or large-scale digital product environments preferred.
Strong programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Ruby, Scala, C++, or similar modern engineering languages.
Experience designing and building backend services, web applications, APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, integrations, or enterprise application platforms.
Strong understanding of software design, data structures, algorithms, APIs, databases, networking fundamentals, system design, scalability, and production operations.
Experience with cloud platforms and engineering tools such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, serverless services, infrastructure services, and observability platforms.
Experience with databases and data systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
Experience with frontend or full stack technologies such as React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS, or modern UI frameworks preferred.
Experience with testing frameworks, version control, code reviews, release processes, monitoring, logging, debugging, and production support.
Familiarity with secure software development, authentication, authorization, access controls, encryption, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and privacy requirements.
Ability to work with Engineering Leadership, Product Management, Design, Data Engineering, DevOps, Security, QA, Customer Success, Support, and business stakeholders.
Excellent technical communication, problem-solving, documentation, code review, collaboration, debugging, and follow-through skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field preferred.
