We are seeking an accomplished Director of Information Security to lead enterprise security programs, strengthen organizational resilience, and help shape the future security strategy of a global organization undergoing significant growth and transformation.
This role offers the opportunity to influence executive decision-making, lead highly visible security initiatives, and build scalable security capabilities that support long-term business objectives.
Your Role at the Company
As Director of Information Security, you will serve as a senior security leader responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide information security programs designed to protect critical business assets, customer information, intellectual property, and technology infrastructure.
You will partner closely with executive leadership, technology teams, compliance leaders, legal stakeholders, operations teams, and external partners to establish security standards that support both business growth and risk mitigation.
This role extends beyond traditional cybersecurity operations. You will help define security strategy, strengthen governance frameworks, drive regulatory compliance initiatives, and lead security modernization programs that enable innovation while reducing organizational risk.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, strategic leadership, business acumen, and operational discipline to build a mature and scalable security organization.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide information security strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, and security operations initiatives
- Establish and maintain security frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures
- Oversee security architecture, vulnerability management, identity management, and data protection programs
- Partner with technology teams to strengthen cloud security and infrastructure resilience
- Manage security assessments, penetration testing programs, and risk evaluations
- Lead incident response planning, security investigations, and threat mitigation activities
- Support regulatory compliance efforts including SOC, ISO, NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and related frameworks
- Develop executive-level security reporting, metrics, and performance dashboards
- Evaluate emerging threats, technologies, and industry best practices
- Manage third-party security assessments and vendor risk management initiatives
- Build and mentor high-performing security professionals and future security leaders
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity and information security experience
- Proven success leading enterprise security programs and governance initiatives
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity operations, risk management, compliance, and security architecture
- Strong understanding of cloud security environments including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise technology environments
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, SOC, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR
- Demonstrated ability to communicate security risks and recommendations to executive leadership
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred

- Base Salary: $289,000 – $356,000
