About the Organization

We are a large, enterprise-scale digital health, healthcare technology, AI-enabled care platform, population health, clinical operations, and value-based care organization supporting patients, providers, health systems, payers, employers, care teams, and healthcare partners across the United States. The company operates in a highly complex healthcare environment where clinical quality, patient outcomes, medical governance, regulatory discipline, provider performance, care delivery design, health equity, data intelligence, and operational excellence directly influence trust, safety, growth, and long-term enterprise value.

This is not a traditional medical leadership role focused only on clinical oversight, policy review, or physician advisory responsibilities. The Chief Medical Officer will serve as a strategic enterprise executive responsible for shaping clinical vision, medical strategy, care quality, clinical governance, patient safety, provider engagement, clinical product direction, healthcare compliance partnership, and evidence-based operating standards across a modern digital healthcare organization.

The company is continuing to invest in AI-enabled clinical decision support, virtual care models, population health programs, value-based care performance, care coordination, provider enablement, quality measurement, patient engagement, clinical analytics, healthcare data platforms, utilization management, risk adjustment, clinical workflow design, and scalable care delivery systems. As the organization grows, leadership is seeking a Chief Medical Officer who can bring clinical authority, executive judgment, healthcare strategy, operational discipline, and strong cross-functional leadership to a highly visible enterprise role.

The Chief Medical Officer will lead the organization’s clinical strategy across medical quality, clinical operations, provider standards, patient safety, clinical governance, care model design, healthcare outcomes, regulatory partnership, product clinical guidance, population health initiatives, and clinical performance improvement. This executive will partner closely with the CEO, Board, COO, CTO, CIO, Chief Product Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Legal, Data Analytics, Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Finance, HR, and Executive Leadership to ensure clinical priorities support patient outcomes, business strategy, healthcare partner expectations, and responsible innovation.

This role requires a leader who understands both clinical medicine and enterprise healthcare operations. The ideal candidate will know how to guide clinical teams, improve care quality, advise product and technology leaders, support healthcare partnerships, evaluate clinical risk, strengthen patient safety programs, use data to improve outcomes, and build scalable clinical governance without slowing innovation.

The selected candidate will help define how the organization delivers safe, trusted, measurable, and technology-enabled healthcare at scale. This includes improving clinical quality frameworks, strengthening provider engagement, guiding AI-enabled clinical tools responsibly, supporting value-based care outcomes, improving care pathways, reducing variation, and ensuring medical decision-making remains grounded in evidence, ethics, compliance, and patient-centered care.

This is a high-impact executive opportunity for a medical leader who wants to shape healthcare transformation, guide clinical innovation, improve patient outcomes, and help a large digital health organization deliver high-quality care through technology, data, and disciplined clinical leadership.
