About the Organization

We are a large, enterprise-scale SaaS, cloud technology, AI-enabled business platform, digital operations, procurement, and third-party risk management organization supporting complex vendor ecosystems, enterprise technology platforms, customer-facing operations, internal business systems, and strategic supplier relationships across the United States. The company operates in a highly connected environment where vendor performance directly affects service quality, cost discipline, operational resilience, cybersecurity readiness, customer trust, business continuity, and long-term enterprise growth.

This is not a traditional vendor coordination role focused only on contract filing, renewal reminders, or basic supplier communication. Vendor Management is a strategic enterprise function that helps the business select the right partners, manage risk, control spend, improve service delivery, strengthen accountability, and ensure third-party relationships create measurable business value. The organization relies on external partners across technology, cloud services, software platforms, managed services, professional services, customer operations, data providers, security tools, infrastructure, consulting, and operational support.

The company is continuing to invest in stronger vendor governance, supplier performance management, contract lifecycle discipline, procurement partnership, technology spend optimization, third-party risk oversight, cybersecurity alignment, service-level management, vendor consolidation, and executive-level reporting. As the organization grows, leadership is seeking a Director of Vendor Management who can bring structure, commercial judgment, operating discipline, and cross-functional leadership to a large and complex vendor environment.

The Director of Vendor Management will lead vendor strategy, supplier governance, performance oversight, relationship management, contract coordination, service-level tracking, vendor risk partnership, renewal planning, cost optimization, and executive reporting. This leader will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Technology, Security, Compliance, Operations, Customer Success, Product, HR, Data, and Executive Leadership to ensure vendor relationships are managed with clarity, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

This role requires a leader who understands both commercial value and operational risk. The ideal candidate will know how to evaluate vendor performance, manage complex supplier relationships, support contract negotiations, reduce unnecessary spend, strengthen service-level accountability, coordinate risk reviews, and help business owners make better decisions about external partners.

The selected candidate will help build a more mature vendor management operating model for a large remote-first organization. This includes improving vendor visibility, strengthening governance routines, creating scorecards, standardizing renewal processes, reducing supplier fragmentation, improving executive reporting, and ensuring vendor decisions support business needs, risk expectations, and financial discipline.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a vendor management leader who wants to shape enterprise supplier strategy, improve business performance, and build stronger third-party accountability across a large technology-driven company.
